Meet international residents enjoying life in the Tamba region. Here, we share their unique stories, daily routines, and the charm they find in Tambasasayama-city and Tamba-city.

A Global Life Rooted in Tamba

Mimi-san was born and raised in Aogaki, a quiet town in Tamba City.
After working around the world supporting housing projects, she returned to her hometown in 2014.
Today, she lives with her American husband Mike and their daughter, enjoying a slow and meaningful life in the countryside.

Mike runs a coffee roastery and imports specialty beans from around the world.
This is a one-of-a-kind community space where local residents, ALTs, and international members of the Tamba community can connect and share cultures. We warmly invite you to visit and experience it for yourself.
